ICANN WDRP Notifications - Sample Email
The following is a sample of the reminder email sent to customers for Whois Data Reminders in accordance with ICANN WDRP
Dear user.firstname,
The current ICANN regulations require domain name owners to list the information provided when a domain name is registered in a public database (also known as WHOIS).
A new ICANN regulation also requires that this information is made available to you on an annual basis so that you can check the accuracy of the information and updateit if necessary.
Our registrar (PlanetDomain Pty Ltd) is accredited by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Number (ICANN), the corporation responsible for regulation of domain name registrations and for accrediting domain name registrars.
Registrants are responsible for ensuring their WHOIS information is current, and ICANN has ruled that outdated contactinformation may be grounds for domain name cancellation.
Reviewing Your Domain Name Information
We ask that you ensure that all of your information listed in WHOIS is accurate - including your mailing address, email address and the Administrative and Technical contacts assigned to each domain name.
Click http://www.secureregistrations.net/RESELLER_DIRECTORY/domain_list.jsp?id=CUSTOMERID here to view the WHOIS information for the domain names registered through RESELLER_COMPANY_NAME.
Thank you for your attention in this matter.
